And now for the questions!
Q1. What is your most embarrassing moment to date?
A1. I’m not sure if it’s my most embarrassing moment but it’s the first that springs to mind. I was in a lecture at uni and I didn’t have my headphones plugged in my laptop and Spotify starts to play N-Dubz (my friend and I had been listening to them the night before as a joke/flashback to our childhood) and it played so loud. Everyone in the lecture hall turned to me as I fumbled to turn it off and then to make it worse, my lecturer said something along the lines of “Ooo N-Dubz, a little late to the party” and I was so so embarrassed.
Q2. What’s the last song you listened to?
A2. I’m currently listening to the songs from Pitch Perfect whilst I’m writing this (don’t judge!).
Q3. What’s your favourite meme?
A3. I don’t really have a specific favourite one but anything featuring this guy makes me laugh so much!
Q4. Are you a ketchup on top person or a ketchup on the side person?
A4. Ketchup on top. Ketchup all over. Slathered in ketchup. Can never have too much ketchup.
Q5. If you could be any animal, which animal would you be?
A5. Definitely a dog. Who doesn’t love dogs?!
Q6. What’s a book you were requested to read and wouldn’t have chosen for yourself but ended up loving?
A6. Not really ‘requested’ as such, but at high school for our curriculum we had to read To Kill A Mockingbird for our exam. I probably wouldn’t have chosen it myself because I wasn’t really into reading classics at the time but I loved it and it became one of my favourite books. I currently have 34 different editions!
Q7. Do you like country music? Tell us why/why not.
A7. I wouldn’t say I’m a country music fan, but I did used to love Taylor Swift pre-pop phase and used to make music videos for her songs with my friends, but they were the only country songs I knew. I haven’t listened to many other songs so I can’t say for sure that I don’t like country music, but I definitely need to investigate more before I can form a proper opinion!
Q8. What’s the longest you’ve gone without taking a bath/shower?
A8. 2 days. And even then I felt gross!
Q9. Do you have a secret talent? If so, tell us what it is.
A9. I have a pretty good memory but not anything super cool I’m afraid.
Q10. Would you rather never be able to say “thanks/thank you” or “please”?
A10. Oooo this is a tough one. I feel like you could phrase things politely when asking for something without using ‘please’ (e.g. Do you mind…? Is it okay…?) but not saying thank you would make you seem ungrateful for everything. Still a super tough call though.
Q11. A very important and vital question to me. What are your thoughts on One Direction? Do you hate them or love them? Spill that tea.
A11. Okay wow. I never knew this could be such a complicated question! I used to love One Direction when they were on X Factor (also considering I was about 13) and I still have texts to say when I voted for them. I was actually obsessed with them, and went on the X Factor tour, their first theatre tour (this was kind of before they became massive) (photo provided – this was also the time before decent phone cameras haha) and had a 1D ‘gang’ of friends and we would watch videos of them all the time. I ran a fan account on Facebook which had 40,000 likes. I had penpals from all around the world because of 1D. I continued to see them on every tour they did in the UK. But then it was almost overnight, I didn’t really like them anymore – it was probably around 6 months before Zayn left. I don’t really know why I stopped liking them but their music wasn’t really to my taste anymore and I seemed to have ‘outgrown’ them (if that makes sense). They were such a huge part of my teenage years (I always cringe when I think back to it), but yeah, I made some incredible friends, but am not a fan of them at the moment (Sorry Diana if you’re reading this haha!). Also I didn’t quite realise my answer would be this long. Sorry!
Again, thank you so much for nominating me Diana! I really enjoyed answering them questions!
